Miss Michelle T. Ehle began working for Attorney Timothy P. Koller in April of 2016 and has proved herself to be an invaluable asset and essential member of our legal team. Michelle, originally a native of the frigid climate of the upper peninsula of Michigan (“Michiganders” can do the hand thingy) and later relocated to lower Michigan and now refers to herself as a “Troll”!
Michelle graduated from Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice in 2013 and during her studies there was an intern with the Lapeer County Prosecutor’s Office. Shortly after finishing her Associates Degree, Michelle immediately continued her education and completed her Bachelors Degree in Paralegal studies in an ABA accredited paralegal program at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids Michigan. Michelle graduated from Grand Valley in December of 2015. While she was finishing her Bachelors, Michelle worked for the Stellard Law Firm in Grand Rapids, Michigan which focused primarily on Social Security Disability representation.
Michelle relocated to the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina to escape the snow and ice of Michigan in the early spring of 2016 when she was hired to work for Attorney Timothy P. Koller at Gunther Law Group. Michelle does occasionally return to Michigan to visit with her wonderful family and beloved nephews Wesley and Jack who warmly refer to her as “Aunt Shelb”. Michelle does remain firm in her conviction not to return to the cold anytime soon!
Michelle is the Chief Paralegal for The Law Office of Timothy P. Koller, PLLC and office manager, so chances are that you will interact with her when you call or set up your appointments! She is also the lead litigation paralegal and is the firm’s Non-Attorney Social Security Disability Advocate.
Mrs. Stephanie Angle
Mrs. Stephanie Angle, originally from Texas, joined the firm in May of 2017 as the firm’s receptionist and clerical assistant. Stephanie graduated high school in 2016 with honors and as a sophomore in college due to taking dual credit classes through Howard Community College of San Angelo, Texas. Stephanie had been the girl next door when she and Alex (her neighbor of nine years) fell in love. She and Alex, a law student at Regent University, married in January of 2017, at which time she moved to the area. She now attends Regent University and expects to graduate in 2019 with a BS in human resource management.
Stephanie is thankful for the adventure God has set before her. During her free time between work and school, she and Alex enjoy cooking for and hosting Bible studies for their church, and game nights for law students. Some of her passions include reading, horseback riding, smart farming, veterinary science, truth, rainy days, crocheting, and traveling. One of her greatest passions is simply ensuring that people she comes in contact with everyday are appreciated, valued, and heard. Thus Stephanie proactively listens and seeks answers and solutions. This attitude has made Stephanie a very valuable asset to the East Carolina Law Group and the people we serve every day. She’s typically the first you’ll speak with when you call.
Mr. Nick Clark
Mr. Nick Clark is currently a full time law student at Regent University School of Law with an anticipated graduation date of May 2017. Mr. Clark has been interning with Attorney Timothy P. Koller since June of 2016 and has been learning the ropes of North Carolina Family Law. Nick’s progression has been fruitful and his understanding of practical family law has been such that he is anticipated to joint the firm as a First Year Associate Attorney in September or October of 2017 upon passing the North Carolina Bar Exam. Under the direction and instruction of Mr. Koller it is anticipated that he will soon become a highly competent lawyer and member of the legal community.
Nick graduated from Roger B. Chaffee High School in St. David’s Island, Bermuda in 1992 before joining the U.S. Navy and serving aboard the USS San Jacinto (CG-56) Guided Missile Cruiser. After his enlistment in the Navy, Nick continued his education and his dedication and work ethic came to fruition when he graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2002. Nick continued to work predominantly as a US Navy Contractor until he felt called to the law as a profession. In 2014 Nick was accepted and enrolled at Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, VA. With graduation from law school and the Bar exam quickly approaching, Nick looks forward to excelling in the practice of law and be available to help those requiring his service.
Nick brings with him to the firm a well-rounded and diverse life experience as he comes from a military family and has lived in many areas of the world. Although he has always called Virginia Beach, Virginia home, he plans to relocate to Currituck County after passing the bar exam. Nick is a thoughtful, empathetic, and intuitive asset to the firm and is a very accomplished musician. We expect to see great things come from Nick in his legal career.
